Envy

When the wrong triumphs the right,
When nothing seems to suffice.
A feeling grows on like a parasite,
It’s envy ... an evil in disguise.

This devil is of perennial kind,
And the victim becomes quite fazed.
As righteous paths are left behind,
And perfidious means are embraced.

When the success it yields starts to fade,
And the pleasures it generate soon jade,
The victim gets heavily paid
For its hard to clear the follies those have been made.
