Men are from Mars, Women from Venus

Today, "Ladki Kyun" from "Hum Tum" was one of the tracks that were played in FM. Prasoon Joshi had come up with some apt and adept lyrics for this song.

I really loved the final punch lines about men, very well delivered by Rani, which goes as below:-

“Pehle pehle bawarein jaise aas paas mandrai
Phir busy hoon kehkar tumko woh tarkai
Samjha karo darling aaj bahut kaam hai
Door hua to kya dil mein tumhaara naam hai
Jiss chehre par marte hai woh boring ho jaaye
Kuch hi din mein nazrein inki idhar udhar mandrai
Sirf pyaar se zindagi nahin chalti
Tum interior decoration ka course kyun nahin karti”

Men and women are poles apart in their attitudes and actions and is a lifetime enough to know each other?

Ahem!

Sometimes you think it'd be good to have your partner having a similar mindset to yours - that would ensure very little differences in opinions and no altercations etc. And sometimes you'd think, that'll be a real boring life. So, take it up as a challenge - try and understand your partner (same gender or otherwise). Just don't take it up as a competition where there's a win and a loss.

It all depends. Some people love at first sight, and stay happy together ever after. For others, one lifetime's not enough. They come back again and again.
